Dr. Joel Feigenheimer, Shari’s husband, lost his battle with ALS in April 2023. An unimaginable loss to Shari, his children, and the Florida International University, Chaplin School of Hospitality. Established by Shari Gherman in his memory, the Joel Feigenheimer Scholarship Endowment will provide financial support for students enrolled at the FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Shari invites colleagues, friends, and family to join in this endeavor.
